Our client is a leader in the design, manufacture and supply of roof integrated solar panels. A significant growth in demand for their products has created a requirement for someone to join their sales team, helping their customers to achieve higher levels of energy efficiency in their new build and refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities include advising customers by telephone whilst ensuring all required information is completed for their design team. You will be outgoing, numerate, and technically minded, with a good telephone manner. The ability to interpret technical drawings is crucial. Prior knowledge of renewable energy is not required.

The Role

  • Liaising with customers by telephone / email
  • Clarifying customer requirements
  • Assessment of project drawings and specification requirements
  • Checking against specified requirements for design purposes
  • Requesting further details from customers where necessary and follow up within time parameters
  • Forwarding information to design team once details are complete
  • Working within customer & project database to record progress
  • Record keeping and reporting

Your profile, Experience & Qualifications

  • Good communicator – verbal and written word
  • Numerate and good with Excel spreadsheets
  • Organised, accurate, with a good attention to detail
  • Technical competence would be an advantage
  • Presentable
  • Approachable, sociable and a reliable team player
  • Self-starting, showing initiative
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of the construction industry useful but not essential.
